Competent, mature drummer, mid fifties - no ego. Worked semi-pro from being 15 to 30 in various bands (seem's years ago now, in fact it was).

August 2005 bought a new kit and started playing (again) must be that mid 50's crisis thing.

Musical interest's very, very varied from soul, motown, big band, jazz, mid west American rock (i.e light rock), Eagles, Paul Weller, Foreigner, Billy Joel, Doobie Bros, all Motown and soul music etc. etc. etc. soul/jazz/light rock etc. I am a very experienced and competent drummer with a good solid technique.

I am always looking for other avenues for playing and would consider anything reasonable, not really interested in money just need and want to play more.

Having recently finished working with a Motown band and also rehearsing with a 5 piece covers band in Manchester, I am now working with a large swing band called Not Quite JaZz bringing the sound of the big band back to today 2010. Featuring a 5 piece SAX section + trombone and sounds old and new of Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jnr, Bobby Darin, Dean Martin, Michael Buble, Jools Holland, Ray Charles to name but a few.
